The Department of International Trade was first established in August, 1990.

Under the approval of the Ministry of Education, Cheng Shiu Junior College of Technology and Commerce became Cheng Shiu Institute of Technology in August, 2000. Our department officially became part of this new institute.

Cheng Shiu Institute of Technology turned into Cheng Shiu University in August, 2003.

The Department of International Trade changed its name into the Department of International Business in August, 2006.
